I wanted to post today to wish my amazing husband Will a very
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! He is my rock and my life. I don't really believe that there is ONLY one person out there for everybody, but if I did, I know that I've found him. He is so many things that I can't even describe, this post would be the longest blog post in the history of the world if I told you everything that he is. I just want to thank him for being my husband, and for being the most patient, kind and loving person I know, and especially for putting up with my nonsensical, rambly self. I wish I could spoil him as much as he deserves, but I did my best! Tonight I'm making curried Israeli couscous for dinner (at his request), as well as some type of yummy baked good that I haven't decided on yet. Maybe chai cupcakes or chai cake... we'll see! I also ordered him a Dalek magnet from an etsy seller, got him a
Leatherman multi-tool, and knit him the Windschief set from
Stephen West (though uh, the hat isn't done yet, but should be by the end of the day...) Whee!

On a side note, you know its a good mail day when it arrives in a bag. Whee! I know, I know, I'm a mail addict. There I've admitted it. Most of this is yarn, some for me to keep, some for me to knit for other people, a book (
People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks. I read her
Foreign Correspondence book over a year ago in a read-along with a Ravelry group filled with pen and correspondence lovers. Its a good read, check it out!)

The last package that I got was from an etsy store,
kNotes for kNitters (aka localgringos). Some of you may have seen her Ravelry banner ads at the bottom of your forums pages, and I couldn't resist. This awesome Pirate Knitting tote bag is now my favourite tote bag I own. I'm pretty much a bag "hoar" and I lovelovelove it! Theres also a greeting card, some postcards, and she threw in a knitting gift tag. Seriously, go check out the shop, its amazing!
